Chef Rafael Ribeiro

Rafael Ribeiro, 25 years, Natural from Loures

He began his career at the Escola Profissional de Hotelaria e Turismo de Lisboa, where he studied cookery and pastry.

Trained at the Olissipo Lapa Palace Hotel and with Chef José Avillez.

Won the Young Gastronomy Talent Competition, Makro Kitchen, in 2019 and 3rd place in the WorldSkills Portugal, National Professions Championship.

In 2021 he is one of the chefs taking part in the First Edition of Hell's Kitchen Portugal.

In Lisbon he worked at the Ofício Restaurant, the Fome Restaurant and the Editory Riverside Hotel.

He also worked in Comporta, where he had his first experience as a Chef. This was followed by experience as Chef de Cuisine at the Estórias Restaurant at Casa da Comida in Lisbon, where the quality of the raw materials, their origin and seasonality are his greatest secrets.

He then opened the Bardô Restaurant, a typical French bistro in the heart of Lisbon.

Today he is working as a Personal Chef preparing to open his next project
