Bio

Nuno Seixas | 32 yo | from Moimenta da Beira

At the age of 15 he came to Lisbon where he attended the Cookery Course at the Lisbon Hotel and Tourism School, followed by an internship at Rio's Restaurant in Oeiras, under the guidance of Chef António Bóia and Chef Jorge Fernandes. 
Between 2007 and 2012, he joined the Junior Culinary Competition team which won a Gold medal and 3rd place in the World Championship in Luxembourg. 
For two years he worked at the Inspira Santa Marta Hotel in Lisbon, later opening the InterContinental Hotel in Estoril as a sous-chef, being Chef Jorge Fernandes' right-hand man. 
During his time in catering at Food Story, he dealt with large-scale meal production.
He is currently the Chef at the emblematic Hotel Baía, Cascais.
