What is your cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy depends on the selected rate. The hotel offers rates with flexible cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in, as well as stricter, non-refundable rates at a lower price.

Will I need to pay a deposit?

For non-refundable reservations, the full amount of the stay is charged at the time of booking.
For refundable reservations, the first night's stay will be charged 2 days before arrival.

Will my credit card be charged before arrival

Yes. For non-refundable reservations, the full amount of the stay is charged at the time of booking.

Are taxes included in the room rate?

All applicable taxes are included in our room rates.

I need to change or cancel my reservation.

If you booked through a travel agency or another booking partner, please contact them directly.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners Club. Please note that bank cheques are not accepted.

Can I purchase a gift voucher?

Yes. Gift vouchers are available for stays and experiences at memmo Baleeira and can be purchased through our official website.

Where is memmo Baleeira located?

Memmo Baleeira is located in Sagres, at the south-western tip of the Algarve, overlooking the Baleeira Harbour and within walking distance of the town centre.

Do you provide airport transfers?

Our Front Desk team will be happy to assist you in arranging a private transfer. Please contact us before your arrival.

Does the hotel have parking?

Yes, memmo Baleeira have a free private parking.

Where can I charge my electric vehicle?

Yes, electric vehicle charging points are available at the hotel.

Can I rent a bicycle during my stay?

Yes, our Front Desk team will be happy to assist you with bicycle rental arrangements. You can rent a bike for a full day or half day. You can also add a baby chair or a trailer to your bike for an additional cost.

Does the hotel have bike centre?

Yes, memmo Baleeira features a dedicated Bike Centre where guests can safely store and wash their bicycles.

What time is check-in?

Check-in is available from 3:00 pm.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is until 12:00 pm (noon).

Do I need to present identification?

Yes, all guests are required to present a valid photo ID or passport upon check-in, in accordance with Portuguese legislation.

Is early check-in available?

Early check-in is only available by booking the previous night in full and late check-out by booking the following night in full.

My flight arrives late. Can I still check in?

Yes. Our Front Desk is available 24 hours a day, so you can check in at any time.

Can I store my luggage before check-in?

Yes. We will be happy to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out. Please contact our Front Desk.

Does the hotel have a lift?

Yes, the hotel has several lifts throught the hotel.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Does the hotel have room service?

Yes, memmo Baleeira offers room service from 12:30OM until 10PM and a late night room service from 10PM until 6AM.

Does the hotel have a meeting room?

Yes. memmo Baleeira offers the Scape Room, a flexible meeting and event space suitable for meetings, workshops, corporate events and retreats. The room can accommodate up to 120 guests and can be configured in different layouts according to your requirements.

Does the hotel offer a laundry service?

Yes. A laundry service is available. Please complete the laundry form located in your wardrobe and contact the Front Desk to arrange collection. As laundry service is external, your clothes will only be delivered 24 hours late. The laundry service does not operate on public holidays and weekends, so delivery may take longer than usual.

Can I send a parcel to the hotel?

Yes. Please contact our Front Desk before sending any parcels so we can assist you with the delivery.

Does the hotel have a App or WebApp?

Yes, we have both. Guests can access our WebApp to find useful information about the hotel and discover available services and experiences. The WebApp can be accessed online without downloading any application. You can also download our App on play stores.

Does the hotel have a swimming pool?

Yes, memmo Baleeira has both an outdoor heated swimming pool with ocean views and an indoor heated swimming pool, exclusively available to hotel guests.

Are the swimming pools heated?

Yes, both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are heated.

What are the swimming pool opening hours?

The swimming pools are open daily. The indoor swimming pool is open from 8:00 am until 8:00pm and the outdoor swimming pool from 9:00 am.

Can non-guests use the swimming pool?

No. The swimming pools are exclusively available to hotel guests.

Are pool towels provided?

Yes, pool towels are provided for all hotel guests.

Can children use the swimming pools?

Yes, children are welcome to use both swimming pools. Access to the indoor pool is available between 9am and 2pm, and children must always be supervised by an adult, as there is no lifeguard on duty.

Does the hotel have a spa?

Yes, memmo Baleeira features a Spa offering a selection of treatments designed to relax, restore and renew.

What are the Spa opening hours?

The Spa is open daily from 8am to 8pm.

Children may use the indoor pool during the designated hours. Access to treatment is restricted to children above the age of 13 with prior parental authorization.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes, memmo Baleeira has one room specially adapted for guests with reduced mobility. If you require this room, please contact our Front Desk in advance.

Do you have interconnecting rooms?

Unfortunately, memmo Baleeira does not have interconnecting rooms.

Can I request twin beds?

Yes, twin beds are available upon request and subject to availability.

Which suites include a kitchenette?

The following suites feature a fully equipped kitchenette:

Do you have rooms with a balcony?

All our rooms, except our Double Land View Rooms and Mini Land View Rooms, have balcony.

Are baby cots available?

Yes, Baby cots are available for children up to 3 years old, upon request.

Can I request a specific room or floor?

You are welcome to let us know your preferences when making your reservation. While we cannot guarantee specific room numbers or floors, we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

Can I request an extra bed?

Yes, you can request extra beds (sofa-bed) only on our suites at memmo Baleeira.

Do the rooms have coffee making facilities?

At memmo Baleeira, all of our rooms have tea & coffee station available.

Can non-guests visit Fornaria?

Yes, Fornaria is open to both hotel guests and non-guests, subject to availability.

Is there a children's menu?

Yes. Fornaria offers a Kids Menu for children up to 12 years old.

Is memmo Baleeira a family-friendly hotel?

Yes, memmo Baleeira welcomes couples, families and groups looking to enjoy a relaxing stay by the ocean. The hotel offers family-friendly suites, children's facilities, and activities suitable for all ages.

What is the children's policy?

Children up to 3 years old may stay in a baby cot upon request. Older children can stay with
their parents in selected suite categories.
In selected One Bedroom Suites, up to two children aged 12 or under may stay free of charge
when sharing the suite with their parents.
Availability depends on the selected room category.

Is smoking allowed?

No. memmo Baleeira is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is not permitted inside the hotel, including guest rooms and indoor public areas. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not permitted at memmo Baleeira.

Can the hotel help me book activities?
