Martinhal Beach

South coast (next to hotel) - the predominately north winds during the summer months and crystal clear water make this beach one of the favourite spots for European windsurfers. In summer the beach is the perfect place for slalom, freeride and freestyle with strong winds and calm waters. In winter this spot is more suited to waveriding.

Tonel Beach

West coast (5 minutes from hotel) - July and August are the best months for windsurfing on this beach. During this time, the north winds blow offshore at Martinhal beach. If you are in the mood for waveriding, try out Tonel beach since the winds here are pretty good and the waves break regularly. But be careful: the small size of the beach area and the existence of rock outcrops make this place suitable only for experienced windsurfers.
